The Badgers are Stafford Hockey Clubs mixed Junior team. League rules only allow player age 13+ to play in the Senior Adult League on a Saturday. Therefor we run a junior team, known as the Badgers, to give opportunity for our younger members of the club to play competitive 11 a side hockey on a Saturday against similar teams from other local clubs.

This team generally consists of juniors between the ages 10 and 14 but may also have one or two adults who play alongside the juniors in order to offer on pitch guidance and support. When players feel ready and are old enough they will move on to play Senior Hockey feeling confident in their abilities gained from their time playing in the Badgers.
